Man’s attempt at convincing wife to try for another baby divides opinions
A mum took to TikTok to share how her husband had been leaving Post-It notes for her every day in a funny attempt to convincing her to start trying for another baby
Trying to decide the right time to start trying for another baby can be a very difficult decision, especially when it seems like you’re both not on the same page.
One dad is positive he’s ready to expand his family, but his wife doesn’t quite seem ready.
So he set out on a mission to try and convince her.
Leandra Janai Joesph took to TikTok ( @leandra.janai ) to share how her husband had been leaving a series of Post-It notes on her birth control pill packet.
He’d then slip them into her handbag each day so that when she goes to take the tablet, she’d be reminded of how much he wanted another baby.
“My husband has been leaving me these notes all week,” the mum-of-three said in the now-viral video.
“You know where these would look great?” the first one reads. “The TRASH!”
The dad brought their daughter into the second note, said, “Lexxi said she always wanted a sister, right?”
“You already took one today, remember?” asks another note. Then, “I’ve replaced all of these with prenatal pills…”
He didn’t stop there though as on the fourth day he says his wife looks better pregnant.
His final note says: “I have an idea for our next adventure. It’s only going to take about nine months.”
Leandra captioned the post: “I think he’s trying to tell me something.”
Since being posted, the video has been viewed more 8.6 million times and has racked up more than 1.4 million likes.
One person joked: “I think he’s trying to tell you he’s pregnant.”
Another wrote: “If I’m being honest the ‘you already took one today remember?’ would have got me lol.”
A third said: “Homie has been stuck on baby TikTok and his brovaries are on fire.”
Some other people were concerned that Leandra was being forced into having another child.
But she assured them this was not the case, as she said: “For those of you worried that I am being ‘coerced’, just know that my baby fever is also sky high.”
In a follow-up video just four days later, Leandra revealed that she was in fact pregnant, in the best possible pot twist.
“When your TikTok about your husband having baby fever goes viral and then this happens the next day,” she says in the clip.
